Introducing myself - Starting my MA journey

Hi everyone,

My name is Laura and I am originally from Italy, although I have been studying/training/performing/teaching in Spain and in the UK.

I started my dance journey at Accademia Internazionale Coreutica in Florence (dir. Elisabetta Hertel) to then move to London and graduate from London Contemporary Dance School (BA Hons).

After graduation I joined a Neo-classical/ Contemporary Dance Company in Madrid (Spain), first as an apprentice and then as a soloist.

During my time in Madrid I started teaching regularly, as well as for occasional workshops. My experience includes teaching ballet and modern/contemporary dance to kids and adults, occasionally teaching for the dance company I was in, as well as delivering daily classes to a specific Contemporary Dance Professional Course. 

It is now time to review and challenge my professional practice, which is why in this blog you'll find mainly reflections, thoughts, questions, hopefully discussions.
